Mackenzie Crook meets Edith!
April 30, 2008
Couple of things to feast our eyes on this Wednesday. First up the trailer to new Emma Roberts teen pic Wild Child. Looks fun. The real thing's out in the Summer...
Secondly, here's pouty Scarlett Johansson's first music video. The track's called Falling Down, has lyrics by the legendary David Bowie and is blimin' painful to listen to. But hey, with a successful movie career, plenty of modelling work and Ryan Reynolds to cuddle up to at night she probably ain't bothered by what I think. Whaddya reckon?

Off-air and online, it's the R1 Movie Blog Extra Bit!
April 21, 2008
Sometimes things are just toooo good to go out on-air - like my Movie Blog Extra Bit that hits the web every Monday and gets just that little bit cheekier, more in-depth and behind-the scenes.
This week I chat to the stupidly talented Sally Hawkins, sparkling star of the new Britflick Happy-Go-Lucky, directed by beardy movie legend Mike Leigh. You might have already seen Sally in Little Britain, Fingersmith and Tipping The Velvet on the telly, as well as other Mike Leigh big-screen masterpieces. With Happy-Go-Lucky she's already got a swanky award in her cabinet and looks set to go stellar. Enjoy...
